Where do the dreams go when we're not sleeping?

When you see a beautiful flower growing under your window, are you aware that it's always there even when you're not looking? Whether it's a fleeting butterfly, a cute mushroom, or a kitten's paws, an overwhelming amount of such beauty passes unnoticed by you everyday. Yet the flowers are not sad that you can't take the time to stop and admire, nor are they happy when you do look once in a while. They don't worry about how withered they look in the autumn breeze, or boast of being the prettiest when in bloom. Never are they anxious that they'll die before someone points out their beauty. Flowers grow everywhere. But a flower growing in mountain backs is no more pitiful than one that grows by the side of your benches.
